  Jury statement
This is my 3rd time that I'm a member of the BraunPrize jury and I can honestly say that each time the experience has been absolutely positive and at the same time quite different as well.

This is certainly due to the tremendous professional experience in combination with the cultural backgrounds of the jurors. It is needless to mention that this fact has clearly added to making the best selections possible regarding the quality standards of the BraunPrize.

Without a doubt in the light of the remarkable growth rate of participants over the last couple of years the BraunPrize is obviously constantly gaining attraction at opinion leaders of top universities around the globe as well.

Accordingly in the context of this year's BraunPrize theme, the whole jury has been delighted to observe considerable efforts that students have invested in the analysis and visualization of problems as well as in the generation of holistic solutions regarding "Conscious Design".

However we have also observed a considerable differences in the quality and depth in the projects submitted. The spectrum is ranging from deep analytical work demonstrating love to technical and esthetic details based on months of studies to simply submitting the results of some lazy few hours of fuzzy and disappointing homework sketches!

Nevertheless we've identified an impressive number of extremely good submissions and for the top talented and hard working students who are amongst the winners I am anticipating a promising future. They will have the future in their hands to potentially improve all our lives!
