  Award ceremony 2003
There was a real feeling of suspense in the run-up to the award ceremony at which Peter Schneider, Director Corporate Design, announced the winner to the Forum participants and over 300 additional guests.

WINNER OF THE 2003 BRAUNPRIZE

Benjamin Holch from the University of Essen
for his "ct.loop" project

The total prize money for this edition of the competition amounted to 25.000 euros - the largest sum ever offered in the BraunPrize. The overall winner had the choice of a prize of 11.000 euros or a six-month internship in the Braun design department. Benjamin Holch, the winner of the 2003 BraunPrize, opted for the prize money.

One of the key benefits for prizewinners is the publication of the results in the international design press and on the internet as well as coverage by print and broadcast media.
