  Emergency Stretcher
Catastrophic disasters, such as the Tsunami in India and other emergencies unfortunately take place on a frequent basis. However, the lack of medical equipment is one of the main reasons of death to occur after an accident. This emergency stretcher provides more remedial space for the patient and it can be adjusted based on the patient’s injury. It can be used without any professional aid, as there are instructional graphics on its surface. It is stackable, which in case of an catastrophic event could be an asset, and also adjusts to variable positions. It provides a solution to the lack of emergency beds and can also be used for surgery. This product provides greater benefits than the one's currently available on the market.

  Finding of the Jury:
This product deals with an important issue about how to give aid in emergency situations. The product is compact and stackable which is very good during large scale emergencies. A key aspect of the design is the use of graphics to clearly inform the user how it is to be used. The jury found it to be a low cost and functionally resolved solution.

The stability of the product requires further investigation.
