Ci.Vivo.Mobile
This product is a mobile bed for intensive care units, designed to minimize the effort of clinical staff during an integral workflow while achieving a higher level of comfort for the patients.
It has advantages in three major aspects of medical treatment. Ci.vivo.mobile system is based on a swivelmount to adapt individually to the specific medical treatment, not loosing for flexibility and clarity. It allows the transportation of the patient with the required equipment without any extra carts, since all equipments can be fixed over the leg and the head area of the bed. Ci.vivo.mobile has an integrated CT-slide, which means that the patients do not have to be transferred to another bed for the tests. The slide can be effortlessly pushed through the CT-scanner.
Ci.vivo.mobile presents design as an integral part for the solutions regarding the medical field, and implies to the emphasizes human-machine interface.

Finding of the Jury:
This product deals well with the very complex problem of intensive care medicine where many different medical specialists and technical devises need flexible access to one patient. This is done with fairly simple mechanisms through a clever use of geometry. The removal of the patient is also made easy for further diagnostics in a different location.
Some mechanisms require further development and monitor equipment would have to be designed specifically for the product.
