Tri-on
The protective gear ‘TRI-ON’ offers comprehensive protection in work environments where several factors harmful to health – such as noise, dust or gases – occur separately or in combination.
The product consists of a dust mask, protective goggles and hearing protection as well as a connecting element. The system adjusts to the shape of the head and allows users the freedom to wear the appropriate components either individually, or in combinations of one or two. Every component can be put on or taken off independently of the others, thereby reducing the time needed for putting on the gear and making it possible to wear several components simultaneously.
‘TRI-ON’ enables users in industry and craft (e.g. boat builders, engineers, automobile sprayers and carpenters) to apply the protection gear flexibly according to specific work situations and therefore improve work safety.

Finding of the Jury:
This product provides protection in noxious environments by combining mask, goggles and earmuffs into a single unit. The robust, rugged design successfully matches the environment in which the product is used. Its modular design provides an ease of use in challenging situations, and its innovation comes from combining existing solutions in a new and effective way.
The jury suggests real scenario testing how such problems as body moisture and sweat would affect the product’s effectiveness and level of comfort.
