BraunPrize 1970
Sponsored by Braun AG to the tune of DM 25,000, the BraunPrize for Technical Design was presented for the second time in November 1970 in Darmstadt. This year's competition attracted 149 entries, 41 of which were shortlisted before the four winning entries were selected. The jury of the second BraunPrize competition awarded one first prize of DM 10,000 and three other prizes of DM 5,000 each. The winning entries were the electronic self-study learning aid by Juergen Jaehnert and Axel Lintener, the flexible, multipurpose wash-stand by Kinga Dózsa-Farkas, the high-pressure injector by Manfred Tumfart and the passenger seating system for public transport by Michael Weiss
