FLUYE
The ‘FLUYE’ system addresses the problem of car speed on inner city streets. It also provides necessary information to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
‘FLUYE’ monitors, calculates and presents relevant information to drivers by means of a digital interface, leading to improved traffic flow and order on the roads. It also helps in reducing fuel wastage and stress.
‘FLUYE’ combines traditional traffic signs (static signs) with a digital interface that is continually updated.
Implementation of the ‘FLUYE’ system will bring about a reduction in the number of traditional traffic signs. Its interface allows the information displayed to be changed at a moment’s notice and adapted to any situation that may arise.

Finding of the jury:
This project offers a solution for the coordination and synchronization of vehicle traffic. Similar products exist in advanced industrial countries. ‘Fluye’ consists of a dynamic and modern information interface. The jury considered it an innovative concept in that it proposes an integrated system providing an alternative solution for traffic management in complex metropolitan areas such as Mexico City.
