  Life Linker
‘Life Linker’ is a coupling system for rescue rings used on flat water in order to prevent people from floating independently in rescue situations. During natural disasters like tsunamis, floods and typhoons, rescue ring is a very important surviving tool. The connection joint design can link rescue rings together, forming a rescue ring queue which has a better chance of survival by enabling and encouraging survivors to help each other.

  Finding of the jury:
The simplicity of use in a rescue situation matches with today‘s situation where no intentional designed solution on most commercial rescue rings exists. No additional technology is needed for this extra benefit. The design could be carried one step further to improve connectivity in rough sea movement.
