  BraunPrize 2001
This year's exhibition comprised 20 projects from 8 countries and provided an interesting overview of the status of industrial design training around the world.

For the first time, the exhibition included three projects which were selected as the "personal favourites" of the different jury members. Although these projects did not, strictly speaking, satisfy the full range of assessment criteria, the members of the jury wanted to recognise the outstanding quality of the basic concept.

In another first for the BraunPrize, students all over the world were able to submit their entries by e-mail thanks to the competition's new web site at www.braunprize.com. The online version of the 2001 competition CD-ROM which provides insights into the work of the finalists can be found at: www.dreamrealproducts.com.
