Lotos
‘LOTOS’ is a compact high-pressure washer that was
developed specially for mobile use. It allows small
cleaning jobs to be carried out efficiently with up to
12 liters of water.
‘LOTOS’ consists of a tank, a drive unit and a revolving
spray component. Its innovative and highly flexible water
tank system makes easy work of any task – and when
not in use, the compact design of ‘LOTOS’ allows it to
be stowed away or transported easily. The necessary
spraying power is generated by a powerful lithium ion
battery-powered motor.

Finding of the Jury:
Mobility and flexibility are key requirements for products
in global markets these days. This solution addresses
both characteristics in a functional and appealing fashion.
In particular the Jury has been impressed by the overall
transportability that combines a reasonable storage
capacity of the water tank with a good visualization of
its function.
However, the Jury also believes that the project needs
research on the technical requirements and specifications
in relation to the projected use of the Power Washer.
This includes closer attention to design elements, for
example the use of screws.
