mioMemo
‘mioMEMO’ is a concept for a digital photo album which picks up intuitive human capabilities and uses it as a basis for the structure of the operating details.
The ‘mioMEMO’ consists of a mainframe, the pen tool and the E.B.S. (emergency backup store), which also serves as the electric power supply of the mainframe. The collected pictures can be exhibited and arranged at will on a large folding display, to which handwritten captions regarding personal memories can be added. The so-called ‘smartedge’ allows the viewer to browse through the numbered pages of the album.
‘mioMEMO’ represents a digital collection of several small photoalbums which are all created manually and each page can be arranged differently, giving the albums a personal note.

Finding of the Jury:
By combining tradition and new technology, this product reduces digital anxiety among older people and offers a friendly user experience by evoking the humanistic feel of the old picture album.
The physical design is fragile in the right corner. There is also a question about leaving the images on the right uncovered and whether stainless steel is the appropriate material for the concept.
