BraunPrize 1980
Internationally recognised for its role in promoting young industrial designers and engineers, the sixth "BraunPrize for Technical Design" is announced in August 1979 and awarded in 1980 by Braun AG in cooperation with the design group of the Federation of German Industries.
The jury awarded 3 prizes of DM 7,000 each for the gynaecological examination station by Gabriele Kuhnke and Sonja Peter (Fachhochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd), the mobile cold lighting system by Volker Zölch, Uwe Kemker (GHS Universität Essen) and the dental workstation by Bernd Russmann (Gesamthochschule Kassel).
Four more projects received a special mention from the jury.
